After teasing 3 ‘singles’ the moment is finally here: the ANTILLECTUEEL EP is out! Around 9 tracks in Dutch; brand new songs and interpretations of familiar hits. We’re very thankful that you’re reading this newsletter algorithm-free and checking our new songs, but wouldn’t it be even better to meet at one of the upcoming Dutch shows?!

Antillectueel

An EP filled with songs about Dutch symptoms of worldwide developments! The orange vinyl 7” comes with an insert with lyrics in Dutch and liner notes in English. The landing page includes links to all streaming services, Bandcamp and music videos.

Track list:
A1: Voorrang Voor Rechts
A2: Minder, Minder, Minder
B1: Belastingparadijs
B2: Ik Zag Veel Boeren
B3: Klimatennaaiers
B4: Marissa & Mike
B5: Ongevraagd Stemadvies
B6: Sywert van Lienden
B7: Fabertjesland

The direct Dutch language is the perfect medium for in-your-face, leftist-populist counterculture. This EP will help you process the recent election results with songs about the shift to the right, our main populist, tax evasion, farmers protests and the like. Side A features 2 new tracks, side B is a mixed bag of pseudo covers, jingles, re-interpretations and other lawsuit-sensitive material. Everything topped off with infotaining samples!

Striking re-enactment artwork by Thomas Mennen. Recorded and mixed by Tim van Doorn at Big Dog Recordings, additional vocal recordings by John B. Jones, mastering by Nico van Montfort at XPZ Sound. Guest vocals on Fabertjesland by Sjonnie.
